Job description

Our prospect is seeking a Technology Director in Technology Architecture & Engineering within Consumer Technology.

Make an Impact by

  • Develop and implement comprehensive data strategies aligned with the organizations objectives and industry best practices for modernization initiatives
  • Oversee the collection, storage, and management of large datasets, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
  • Analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights to support data-driven decision-making
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques to extract insights from data, identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and present findings to key stakeholders
  • Implement processes and protocols to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and completeness throughout the data lifecycle
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, marketing, finance, and operations, to understand data needs, address challenges, and support data-driven decision-making
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data initiatives and monitor progress towards strategic goals. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management
  • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and data scientists, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional development and ensure high performance

Required qualifications

  • 8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of Management experience
  • 6+ years in a data-related role, with a strong understanding of data management principles, techniques, and tools
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI

Desired qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Meticulous approach to data management, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving collaborative efforts to achieve strategic objectives
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data-related issues
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data privacy regulations, and industry standards
  • Experience working in industries such as healthcare, finance, retail, or technology is a plus
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, build strong relationships, and drive consensus towards common goals
