Job description

Our prospect is seeking a Technology Director in Technology Architecture & Engineering within Consumer Technology.

Make an Impact by

Develop and implement comprehensive data strategies aligned with the organizations objectives and industry best practices for modernization initiatives
Oversee the collection, storage, and management of large datasets, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
Analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights to support data-driven decision-making
Utilize advanced analytical techniques to extract insights from data, identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and present findings to key stakeholders
Implement processes and protocols to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and completeness throughout the data lifecycle
Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, marketing, finance, and operations, to understand data needs, address challenges, and support data-driven decision-making
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data initiatives and monitor progress towards strategic goals. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management
Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and data scientists, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional development and ensure high performance

Required qualifications

8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of Management experience
6+ years in a data-related role, with a strong understanding of data management principles, techniques, and tools
Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI

Desired qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
Meticulous approach to data management, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards
Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving collaborative efforts to achieve strategic objectives
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data-related issues
Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data privacy regulations, and industry standards
Experience working in industries such as healthcare, finance, retail, or technology is a plus
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, build strong relationships, and drive consensus towards common goals
